About DiverHire

DiverHire is a new marketplace for underwater work, in public beta. We connect divers with clients who need underwater work — hull cleaning and inspections, marine surveys, salvage and lost-item recovery, photography, welding, and everything in between. Clients post jobs free, divers bid, and the two arrange payment directly.

Why we exist

Commercial diving has been stuck in the analogue age. Clients find divers through word of mouth or yellowed business cards on marina pin boards. Divers find work the same way — and miss out on the projects nearest them because there's no central place to look.

We're building the platform we wanted as divers: certification checks, transparent pricing, real reviews, and tools (dive calculators) that genuinely help you plan dives.

What's different

• Built for divers. Every feature is checked against real diving workflows.
• Certification checks. Divers can upload their cards for review; approved certifications show a verified badge.
• No fee on jobs. Posting a job and bidding are free, and clients pay divers directly.
• Free tools. MOD/PPO₂/EAD/SAC dive calculators — no signup required.
