DiverHire — hire commercial divers, or find diving work

How DiverHire Works

DiverHire is a marketplace. One side is divers — certified scuba professionals offering services. The other is clients — anyone who needs underwater work done. Here's how each side uses the platform.

For divers

  1. Create a free account. First name, last name, email, password, and how other members see you: a display name or your full name. Get started.
  2. Complete your profile. Add certifications, service areas, hourly rates, and a portfolio when you're ready. The more complete, the more visible.
  3. Browse jobs. Filter by category, city, urgency, and budget. View open jobs.
  4. Submit bids. Send your proposal with timing and price. The client picks. When you bid, that job's client sees your full name; everyone else keeps seeing your display name. Showing your full name on your profile can help you win jobs.
  5. Do the work. Communicate via in-platform messages, complete the job, and get paid directly by the client.
  6. Get reviewed. Each completed job lets the client leave a review that builds your reputation.

For clients

  1. Create a free account. Name, email, password, and how other members see you: a display name or your full name. Get started.
  2. Post your project. The 3-step wizard collects what divers need to bid: scope, location, dates, budget.
  3. Receive bids. Qualified divers nearby submit proposals. Compare profiles, certifications, reviews.
  4. Choose your diver. Accept the bid that fits your project. The diver you hire sees your full name, so they know who they're working for.
  5. Manage the job. Stay in touch via in-platform messages. Mark complete when done.
  6. Leave a review. Helps other clients pick the right diver next time.

Pricing

Posting jobs and registering as a diver are both free, and DiverHire takes no cut of the work: clients pay divers directly. Optional extras are Diver Pro ($29/month) for divers and featured job listings ($25 for 30 days) for clients. If pricing changes, we'll say so clearly before charging.
